Lotek’s Vaginal Implant Transmitters are designed to indicate when birthing has occurred in species such as deer, bison, elk, bighorn sheep and pronghorn. The transmitter is implanted into the vaginal tract during gestation and will be expelled when parturition occurs.

1. Estimated life at 38˚C using battery manufacturer’s information. Actual lives may vary at the extremes of the operating temperature range by up to 50%. Life calculations based on continuous operation at a pulse rate of 40ppm when implanted. When expelled transmits at 80ppm reducing life.
