The TW-x is a very versatile family of transmitters providing a wide selection of sensors, weights, belting material and battery life to match the collar with the species and applications. Starting at only 0.8 g and going up to 380 g the TW-x is suitable for monitoring mammals of all groups and sizes.

1. Life based on pulse length 12 ms and pulse rate 30 pulses per minute at 25°C
2. Average weight. Tags for some species require extra protection or range that can increase the weight.
Frequency band: 138 – 230 MHz
Channel spacing: 10 kHz (nominal), 12.5 kHz or user-specified
Calibration error: < ± 5 kHz (nominal), or < ± 1.5 kHz for channelized transmitters. Temperature error: < ± 10 ppm (approx. ± 1.5 kHz) over temperature and voltage range. Extreme temp: -10 to +55 C (for frequency error) Working temp: -40 to +60 C
