SRX 400: Product Details: WINHOST Software

HOST is a proprietary software program designed specifically for the SRX_400 receiver running data acquisition firmware such as EVENT_LOG and CODE_LOG. Its main purpose is to automate the process of downloading data files from the receiver to MS-DOS compatible computers in preparation for analysis with third party software. HOST also has a number of other utilities which allow the user to examine, print, delete and convert files. In addition, with SRX_400 receivers equipped with TERMINAL control, HOST may be used for remote control of the receiver.

WINHOST, a Windows '95/'98/NT compatible version of this download software, is now available. Using the "Terminal Control" remote data acquisition receiver feature (availability is configuration dependent), the user can view a simulation of the front panel of the fixed datalogging SRX_400 receiver on their computer monitor to upload frequencies and view activity.
