Announcing
the SRX 600: a great idea made even better.
The Lotek SRX 600 is built on the same strong foundation that made its predecessor, the SRX_400A, so popular. It shares the following features in common with the SRX 400A:
- Receiver and datalogger in one integrated unit
- Relative signal strength measurement
- Detect Lotek* coded ID tags and sensor tags
- Serial port PC connection
- Separate RF gain and audio controls
- 1 kHz channel spacing
- Non-volatile flash memory
- Log up to 100,000 non-volatile data blocks
- Digital control port to switch peripheral devices
- Rechargeable batteries
- Firmware control for operating flexibility
In addition, the SRX 600 offers these exciting new features:
- Integrated GPS
- USB capable
- Dual processor
- Expanded memory (more than 1 million records)
- User defined configurations
- Enhanced detection algorithm
- Accept/reject filters
- New SRX HOST software
- Detects and logs both ‘beeper’ and coded transmitters
* Proprietary Lotek codesets and firmware are protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions.
Enhanced
Data Storage Capacity:
Up to one million records of non-volatile flash memory assures that
all the capacity required is there, even in the face of catastrophic
power outages, giving you peace of mind.
High Speed Data Transfer:
With a USB configured port, data is downloaded in seconds, leaving
more time for science and allowing you to get on with other business
at hand.
Configuration Library:
The breadth and depth of the SRX_400A application library has
been integrated into a single unified operating system. Included
is the ability to store up to 8 user defined "individualized"
operating configurations for upload from a PC or stored on-board
for instant recall. Setup and take down is optimized and repeatable,
making project sharing and collaboration easier and more efficient.
Enhanced Detection Algorithms, Accept/Reject Filters,
Multi-tasking and Integrated GPS:
In English: increased data accuracy and data processing efficiency.
But what does Integrated GPS have to do with increased data processing
efficiency? Simply put: time synchronization among discrete receivers
eliminates time spent sorting results by nearest neighbor time
stamp. Detection algorithms and accept/reject filters detect and
decode overlapping transmissions, while specific codes and/or
code combinations can be selectively recorded or ignored. Multi-tasking
allows simultaneous detection, decoding and downloading. Only
the transmitters of interest are recorded and displayed. The net
effect is higher detection, data decoding and access to your data,
without interruption of the data collection process. In other
words, increased data accuracy and data processing efficiency
for better science.
Scalability:
An overworked word? Perhaps. However, we thought you might rest
assured knowing that your investment in the SRX purchased yesterday
can be turned into the receiver you'll want tomorrow. All SRX_400A
receivers can be economically upgraded to the SRX 600, thereby
evolving with your science.
Detects and logs both ‘beeper’ and coded transmitters:
Transmitters from multiple vendors and for multiple applications, i.e. reptiles, fish, birds, mammals, etc., can be detected and logged on a single receiver, thereby promoting collaboration, increasing versatility, and ultimately reducing infrastructure costs.
