The world’s smallest certified GPS Argos tag
– from just 3.5g

GPS Locations automatically relayed by Argos satellites, so no need for tag retrieval.

Accurate, automated GPS locations are taken at times/dates programmed by you, to meet the requirement of your study. The locations are then automatically relayed by Argos Satellite, from anywhere in the world, ready to be downloaded online. If retrieved, the tag can be recharged and used repeatedly.

Great for:

  • Accurately tracking unknown migration routes
  • Low site fidelity species
  • Dispersal tracking

  • Flexible, user-programmable GPS schedule
  • Argos transmission only at end of study, to reduce Argos costs
  • User rechargeable (if tag retrieved)
  • Optional end tubes for harness attachment

* Locations may be attempted but the birdís behaviour can prevent GPS communication & Argos data download.

To use the Argos data download, an Argos account is required, with an Argos ID Code for each tag. More information about this can be provided by your Avian Telemetry Specialist; please contact us for more details.
